VALK is a project spearheaded by three Spanish entrepreneurs that are specialists in product design and video game enthusiasts. We both believe that the game industry is losing its enchantment. Yes, there are more and better video games every day, but we gamers are becoming less and less numerous. We know the industry from the inside, and we know that its expansion has been uneven, consolidating power in giant corporations at the expense of people who dared to do new and adventurous things, even nerds, on their own. We see the same repetitive designs everywhere, under brand names devoid of individuality produced by distributors themselves, or even by Chinese corporations with unpronounceable names and questionable reliability.
