On March 26, Anita Roddick opens the first The Body Shop® in Brighton on the south coast of England. In 1978, the first branded kiosk opened under the franchise system appears in Brussels. By 1982, two new stores are opening monthly. The company goes public for the first time and finances the production of posters for Greenpeace. This year marked the beginning of a long and fruitful partnership with one of our main suppliers - Teddy Exports cooperative.
